Of course, the containers lid can extend out of the ground for about thirty six inches. The pump company also sales extra parts and accessories for this unit, for a small shipping and handling fee.
The system is not designed to be installed inside a home such as a cellar or a basement but was manufactured more for outside use. You will need to check with your local zoning office to find out what specifications you will need such as a permit, and other plumbing specs that will have to be followed for your state and county ordinances. The ordinances may require that you use small gravel and crushed rock as a back fill, and they may also require that the pump sit on a concrete slab; however, not all state and county ordinances are the same.
