How To Find Space In Your Kitchen For A Spice Rack

Today it can be very difficult to find room in a well stocked kitchen.  However, having your spices organized is very important.  Here are a few tips to help you find room for your spice rack in a kitchen with limited space.

The first thing you will need to think about is where you are going to put your spice rack.  If your counter space is limited but you have free wall space, you may want to consider a wall mounted spice rack.  These usually come with multiple shelves for arranging your spices on.

If you do have some counter space, but it’s hard to reach there is a carousel spice rack that will fit into the corner of your counter.  It spins around like a Lazy Susan does, making it easy for you to choose spices without having to take up a lot of space.

If you like to be able to see all of your spices at once you will want to consider a spice rack that is slanted.  They come in tiers, making it easy to see all of your spices and can be stored inside one of your kitchen cabinets.

If you have a kitchen drawer that is free you can use that.  They lay flat inside a drawer similar to a silverware liner, but instead of your utensils will hold your spice containers or jars inside of slots.

Another potentially unused space you may want to utilize for a spice rack is under a kitchen cabinet.  An under cabinet spice rack attaches to the bottom of a kitchen cabinet and can swing down for you to view and choose your spices.  When not in use it can be folded up underneath your cabinet to save space.

Another way to save space is to get a door mounted spice rack to install on the inside of a kitchen pantry door.  These are easy to mount with a few screws.
