Tired of fumbling through your closet every time you need something? Getting frustrated because it takes you a long time to find items in your closet? With less work than you think, you can organize your closet storage space and make your life easier.
There is a wide range of closet organizers available to you and they can be used to organize different things such as a closet purse organizer or a shoe organizer. They can be price from under $100 to several thousand depending on your budget and tastes. The inexpensive ones are made of wire and plastic where the more expensive ones will be all wood.
But take these steps first. You may find out you don’t need a closet organizer after all. Perhaps your closet just needed a good cleaning and organizing.
First step is to take everything out of the closet. Yes I said everything. Start with a fresh canvas. As you take each item of clothes ask yourself these questions. Do I wear it? If yes keep it and put it in the keep pile. If you plan on wearing it, be honest with your self. When was the last time you wore it? If you can’t recall, toss it.
You can do a few things with the clothes in the toss pile. You could throw them out, which would be the easiest thing to do. But maybe they are still in good shape and wearable. If so, consider donating them. Its keeps the clothes out of the landfill, and maybe someone could use it. You might even get a tax break for it too. Perhaps you could bring your toss pile to a local consignment shop. Hopefully you could make a few dollars from this! Think of it as getting paid to clean your closet!
There is a cheap closet organizer that you can use. It’s a bar that hangs from your current clothes bar. It effectively doubles the amount you can hang up. Face it; there is a lot of empty space below the clothes you hang up. Using this bar increase the space you have to hang clothes up. You could even use storage boxes to tidy away things efficiently and effectively.
